The American Volleyball Coaches Association is proud to announce its 2024 All-America Teams for NAIA men’s volleyball. Each of the two All-America Teams includes 12 student-athletes, who represent 11 programs, and 16 additional players received honorable mention honors.
Leading the way is The Master’s University, which has six first- or second-team selections. Ottawa University Arizona has three players on the first team, and William Penn University also has three All-Americans—two first-teamers and one second-teamer.
Joao Friedrich of Park University becomes just the seventh four-time All-American, and Ryan Gunn of Georgetown College and Emery Outin of Ottawa both earned their third All-American honors. Patrick Paragas of The Master’s University is the 2024 NAIA Player and Newcomer of the Year.
The selections were made by the AVCA NAIA Men’s Volleyball All-America Committee: Luke Bentley of William Penn (chair), Alfonso Alvarez of Campbellsville, Chad Hanson of Dordt, Greg Reitz of Lourdes, Tom Ryan of St. Xavier, Charles Shearer of Life University, Taylor Stallman of Benedictine (AZ), and Kyle Steele of Ottawa (AZ).
