JACOB LaBOULIERE, WENTWORTH INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY
- LaBouliere becomes Wentworth’s first-ever Division III National Player of the Year.
- The senior wreaked havoc on opponents all season, hitting .432 and averaging 4.3 kills per set and 4.9 points per set.
- He helped Wentworth post a 31-2 record, which included the Leopards opening the season with 24 straight wins and being ranked No. 1 in the AVCA/NVA Division III Poll from Jan. 23 to March 26.
- The award adds to his other 2024 honors, as he was the GNAC Offensive Player of the Year and the AVCA Region I Player of the Year. He also picked up AVCA first-team All-America honors for the second-straight season.
- In February, the outside hitter recorded his 1,000th career kill, making him the fourth Wentworth player to reach that milestone.
- He reached double-digits in kills in 22 of the 26 matches and had more than 20 kills four times.
- On 17 occasions, he recorded a hitting percentage above .400. Included in those matches were four where he had no hitting errors.
