The AVCA is proud to announce its 18th annual High School All-America Teams for boys volleyball. For the first time, the teams include non-seniors, and again only players whose high school head coaches are AVCA members were eligible for nomination.
There are 10 players on the first team, 10 on the second team, and eight honorable mention selections. This year’s group of 28 student-athletes are from 23 high schools in eight different states and one Canadian province.
Mira Costa [CA] High School leads the way with four players receiving recognition (two first-teamers and two second-team picks), followed by two players each from Marist [IL] High School (one first-team and one second-team selection) and Huntington Beach [CA] High School (one second-teamer and one honorable mention selection).
Fourteen colleges received at least one commitment from a 2025 AVCA All-American. There are five schools with two first- or second-teamers: Hawai‘i, Lewis, Penn State, UCLA, and USC.
The 2025 AVCA Boys High School All-America Teams selection committee includes Tyler McClure of Cathedral High School (Midwest Region), Bill Schreier of Wheaton Warrenville South HS (Midwest), Sean Tierney of Elder High School (Midwest), Neiad Ammary of Liberty High School (Northeast), Mike Lucia of Cicero-North Syracuse High School (Northeast), Michael Boehle of Loyola High School of Los Angeles (West), Charlie Jackson of Poway High School (West), David Jones of La Jolla High School (West), Matt Marrujo of Servite High School (West), Kevin Pratte (West), and Roger Peluso (South).
