AVCA NAIA Women’s Coach of the Year
CANDACE MOATS, INDIANA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY
- Moats guided the Wildcats to a third-straight title at the NAIA Women’s Volleyball National Championship.
- The threepeat puts Indiana Wesleyan in rarified air, as only three other schools have ever won back-to-back-to-back volleyball titles.
- This year’s squad was 33-4, and it closed the season on a 13-match winning streak.
- The 2023-25 championship teams have posted a combined 108-6 record over the three seasons.
- Moats finished her 24th season at Indiana Wesleyan and 42nd overall, and she earned her 1,050th career win late in the 2025 season.
AVCA NAIA Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year
ANGIE BOLDT, CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY NEBRASKA
- Boldt’s eighth season as an assistant at Concordia was a memorable one, as she helped the school to a 28-4 record.
- The Bulldogs advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 NAIA Championship, which was the first time they’d made the final four.
- In addition to earning her first national Assistant Coach of the Year award, she was named the 2025 Great Plains Athletic Conference Assistant Coach of the Year.
- Her husband, Ben, is the head coach, and in their eight years of leading Concordia, the program has a combined 182-45 record.
