DANIELA ALVAREZ, TCU
- Alvarez becomes the first player to be both the AVCA Player of the Year (this season) and part of a winning AVCA Pair of the Year (2023).
- By taking home first-team AVCA All-America honors in 2025, she becomes only the sixth beach player to be a four-time, first-team selection.
- The grad senior has helped TCU to a 28-5 record and the No. 1 ranking in the AVCA Beach Poll heading into the 2025 NCAA Championship in Gulf Shores.
- She has played at No. 1 all season for Coach Hector Gutierrez’s squad, picking up 25 wins so far.
- Alvarez has 123 career victories entering NCAA postseason, which puts her atop the TCU list in that category. She and Tania Moreno are the school’s winningest pair ever.
