Evans was named the 2025 UVC Championship Most Valuable Player after leading the No. 1 Violets to their second-straight league tournament title. In the two NYU wins, he averaged 4.57 kills per set, hit .474, and had six blocks, six digs, and four aces. He had a career-best 19 kills in the semifinal victory then added 13 more to go with .522 hitting in the championship final.
