The AVCA is excited to announce its 2026 All-Region teams and award winners for Division III Men’s Volleyball.
Each of the four region teams includes 14 players, and a Player of the Year, Newcomer of the Year, and Coach of the Year were selected for each region. The 56 student-athletes who made All-Region represent 27 different schools. Leading the way with four selections are Lasell University, Messiah University, New York University, Springfield College, and the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

Region I Player of the Year: Dylan Mulvaney, S, Sr., Springfield College
Region I Newcomer of the Year: Branch Barnes, RS, Fr., Lasell University
Region I Coach of the Year: Charlie Sullivan, Springfield College

Region II Player of the Year: Emerson Evans, RS, Jr., NYU

2026 AVCA DIVISION III REGION COACHES OF THE YEAR
REGION I COACH OF THE YEAR
Charlie Sullivan, School
2026 Record (as of April 13): 21-3
Sullivan’s team, which is 21-3 heading into the NCAA Championship, has been ranked No. 1 for most of the season. In a recent win over Hobart, the veteran coach picked up his 564th career victory and moved into second place on the DIII career wins list.
REGION II COACH OF THE YEAR
Dan Miranda, Buffalo State
2026 Record (as of April 13): 28-4
It has been a record-breaking year for Miranda and the Bengals. So far this season, Buffalo State has set a program-record for wins (28 entering the NCAA postseason), earned its first-ever AVCA Poll rank, and beat a top-10 team for the first time.
REGION III COACH OF THE YEAR
Glenn DeHaven, Juniata College
2026 Record (as of April 13): 29-2
DeHaven has led the Eagles to another banner season, as they enter this week’s NCAA regionals with a 29-2 record and on a 12-match winning streak. Juniata has been ranked in the top-four of the AVCA Poll all season, including one week tied at No. 1.
REGION IV COACH OF THE YEAR
Brandon Mueller, Illinois Wesleyan
2026 Record (as of April 13): 22-6
Coach Mueller has guided the Titans to a historic season in 2026. The team made the AVCA Top 20 for the first time, set a record for wins (22), posted a program-best 8-2 record in conference play, and recorded its first-ever win over a top-10 team.
