In order to qualify, a given pair must meet the following requirements for the 2026 season:

  • A specific pair of athletes must play at least 15 matches at the same flight.
  • The pair must win at least 75% of their matches at the specific flight.
  • The team’s head coach must be an active AVCA member.

Nominations Deadlines:

  • NCAA Division III – Monday, April 20
  • NCAA Division II – Monday, April 20
  • NAIA – Monday, April 20
  • NJCAA/Two-Year College – Monday, April 20
  • NCAA Division I – Monday, April 27

AVCA will confirm eligible pairs using results from Collegebeachvb.com. Winners (all divisions) will be announced May 1, 2026.

Guidelines:

  • Win/loss records should be entered with ONLY matches played at the same flight (do not include results from matches the pair played at other flights).
  • If a pair meets the 15-match, 75% win qualifications at more than one flight, nominate them separately for both awards.
  • Athletes that move flights due to roster restructuring or injury, will NOT be eligible if they do not have at least 15 matches at the same flight with the same partner.
  • Include all regular season and conference matches. Do NOT include exhibition matches.
