MICHAEL BOEHLE, LOYOLA HIGH SCHOOL OF LOS ANGELES

• Just completed his 25th season as Loyola head boys volleyball coach
• The 2023 team earned the school’s fifth CIF SoCal State Regional Playoffs title; others were in 2009, 2010, 2012, and 2017
• The Cubs didn’t drop a set in this year’s state playoffs and finished with a 29-2 record
• Helped team earn No. 1 ranking in the AVCA/USA TODAY Sports Super 25 boys volleyball poll for a majority of the 2023 season
• Three players from this year’s team have signed to play college volleyball: Lukas Anderson – Loyola Chicago; Spencer Graves – UCLA; and Ryan Espinoza – MIT
• Has been the owner of Manhattan Beach Surf Volleyball Club since 2011
