Yesterday was a big day at the White House, as student-athletes from 52 NCAA national championship teams were on the South Lawn as part of 2023 College Athlete Day.
Taking part in the festivities were five volleyball teams that won national championships in 2022-23:
- Texas (2022 Women’s Division I)
- Southern California (2023 Collegiate Beach)
- Stevens (2023 Men’s Division III)
- West Texas A&M (2022 Women’s Division I)
- UCLA (2023 Men’s National Collegiate)
The 2023 AVCA Player of the Year, Texas’ Logan Eggleston, was one of the featured speakers during the ceremony, and she presented Vice President Kamala Harris with a replica national championship trophy.
