2025 AVCA Board of Directors Elections

Voting for AVCA President-Elect, NCAA DI Women’s Representative, NAIA Representative, and Assistant Coaches Representative positions on the AVCA Board of Directors will be conducted October 27-30, 2025.

Candidates interested in seeking any available AVCA board positions need to present a written notification of interest via e-mail to Kennedy Wells. Upon receipt of the written notification of interest, it will be required to also complete the AVCA Board Questionnaire (which will be sent upon receipt of the written notification of interest) by Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at 5:00p.m. Eastern Time. Both the written notification of interest and the AVCA Board Questionnaire must be completed by 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, October 22 to be eligible for this election.

Candidates for AVCA President-Elect must be at least 21 years of age and be an active and in good standing AVCA member on the date of election through their term(s) on the AVCA Board.  Any interested director/representative candidates must be at least 21 years of age, be an active coach within the coaching group (NCAA DI Women head coach, NAIA head coach, Assistant Coach) they will represent and shall be an active AVCA member in good standing on the date of election through their term(s) on the AVCA Board.

Current NCAA DI Women Representative, Coach Marie Zidek (DePaul) will be the incumbent and will be seeking a second three-year term.   Current Assistant Coaches Representative, Coach Jill Wilson (LSU), who was appointed to complete the final year of the three-year term of the previous representative, Coach Zach Weinberg, will be the incumbent and will be seeking a full three-year term.
