AVCA Names its Resource Library

in Honor of Jim Stone

The AVCA is proud to honor Hall of Famer Jim Stone by renaming its online education and resource portal the

“Jim had such a huge impact on our sport, especially in the education and teaching space, and this is a fitting way to recognize him,” said AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. “Naming our education section the Stone Resource Library reflects his legacy as a life-long learner and the passion he had for sharing his knowledge.”


Officiation Week Starts Friday!

March 20-28, 2026

Is your team ready for AVCA Spring Volleyball Officials Appreciation Week? Boys, men's, beach, club and pro volleyball teams:

  1. Choose a match during March 20-28
  2. Plan a small token of appreciation for officials pre-match - include both teams
  3. Snap a group photo with officials, both teams and coaches
  4. Post & tag #OFFICIATIONWEEK2026 + @AVCAVolleyball on social media
  5. Submit your event to be added to the AVCA’s National Participants List
