The AVCA, in partnership with VolleyStation, has launched AVCA VolleyLine, a new digital hub designed to connect the volleyball community through accessible, reliable match results. Built with AVCA’s membership and the broader volleyball community in mind, AVCA VolleyLine aggregates scores in one place.

The Alabama High School Volleyball Coaches Association (AHSVCA) Hall of Fame Class of 2026 will be announced on June 1.
Alabama’s Vestavia Hills High School (Vestavia Hills, AL) and Thompson High School (Alabaster, AL) near Birmingham are planning an outdoor match on September 9, 2026. Vestavia Hills’ volleyball program is led by Coach Ashley Hardee, and Thompson is led by Coach Judy Green. Read more.

The AVCA remembers three Georgia teens from Horizon Christian Academy, including two volleyball players – Jaylyn Fehr and Charlotte Martin from A5 Gwinnett Volleyball Club, tragically lost in a crash this month. As their coach April Mifflin shared, they were more than athletes—teammates, friends, daughters, and bright lights whose impact reached far beyond the court.

The 2026 GHVCA Coaches Clinic takes place Saturday, May 30, at Deer Park High School – North Campus. Kentucky (KVCA)
When Franklin County volleyball player KeAaron Jones was diagnosed with cancer, FCHS coach Tom Marshall thought about putting on a tournament. When the tournament planning began, Marshall was thinking it would raise about $5,000. When the tournament ended Saturday evening, a total of $10,077.60 was raised, and all the money went to Jones’ family.
Nebraska Boys Volleyball is working to grow opportunities for athletes across the state through open gyms, camps, clinics, and competitive play. Our goal is to help more boys discover the sport, build skills, and connect with teams and programs in their communities.
After an incredible 37-year career at Webster High School, legendary volleyball coach Greg Kennedy is stepping away from the sidelines. Don’t miss the 94th Annual THSCA Coaching School and Convention July 19-21, at the George R. Brown Convention Center (Houston). This three-day conference offers volleyball coaches focused education, networking, rules meetings, an on-site job room, and a robust exhibit hall. The THSCA Convention attracts more than 18,000 coaches, administrators, and exhibitors each year. Read more.

ArVCA Coaches Clinic (AR)
Thanks to the student-athletes, coaches, and presenters who made the 2026 ArVCA Coaches Clinic an outstanding success. Keynote speakers included Steven McRoberts (Missouri State University), Hannah Hogue (University of Arkansas), and Craig Cummings (former Arkansas State Universityand Jonesboro High School head coach), along with Arkansas high school coaching legends who shared their insights during the Legends Panel. With live and recorded drills, new breakout sessions, and more than 150 participants, the clinic showcased the strength of the Arkansas volleyball community.

Apply to be considered as a speaker for on-court, beach court or classroom presentations at the 2026 AVCA Annual Convention in San Antonio, Texas December 16-20. The application window will close on May 11.
Rivalry games in high school sports go beyond just the result of the matchup. They are about tradition and culture not only on the field, but throughout entire communities. Rivalries are also a great opportunity to demonstrate great sportsmanship.
