February 4, 2026, marks the 40th annual National Girls & Women in Sports Day (NGWSD). We invite you to celebrate NGWSD in your community and share your story about empowering girls and women in sports with the hashtag #NGWSD2026.
The AVCA is now accepting nominations for its 2026 Thirty Under 30 Awards, spotlighting rising high school, club and collegiate coaches who are making a significant impact in developing young athletes. These categories honor innovative, passionate leaders shaping the future of volleyball at the interscholastic and club levels.
The nomination deadline for the 2026 class is February 12, 2026. Nominees must be 30 years old or younger as of December 31, 2025, active AVCA members and currently coaching volleyball.

Spring #OFFICIATIONWEEK2026 is a nine day period set aside for boys, men’s, beach, club and pro volleyball teams to make sure our officials know how grateful the volleyball community is for the integral role they play.

The Kansas Volleyball Association has released its 2025 All-State teams, as voted on by coaches statewide. The list includes first and second teams along with honorable-mention selections in every classification, as well as the KVA’s Players of the Year and Coaches of the Year.
Congratulations to the student-athletes who have accepted an invitation to play in the 2026 NCA Volleyball Senior Showcase on July 21st in Lincoln (NE).
The NCVBCA hosted the Boys and Girls Volleyball All-Stars event at Seaforth High School in December. Thank you to all teams, coaches and volunteers who made this event possible.

2025 in Review: Nearly 1,000 Academic All-State honorees with 942 student-athletes and 55 support staff honored. The average WGPA for student-athletes was 4.0!
Check out coaches clinics around the country hosted by AVCA Signature Affiliate and Affiliate Partners, and Membership Organizations. These local clinics offer high school coaches the opportunity to receive quality volleyball coaching education close to home.
Nominate for the 2026 AVCA Boys Watch Lists! Senior athletes will be added to AVCA Boys High School All-America Watch List. Non-senior high school athletes will be featured on the AVCA High Risers List. Please nominate all of your deserving athletes to ensure they are recognized!
