The season-opening AVCA First Serve brought four days of premier volleyball to Lincoln and Sioux Falls, and set the stage for another exciting fall of Division I women’s volleyball. The event included nine teams ranked in the top 16 of the AVCA Preseason Poll—including the top three—and saw the return of Vanderbilt volleyball, which is restarting its program this season.

Following the eight matches, the AVCA revealed its 2025 All-First Serve Team, which includes the top players during the event at these five positions:

• Middle Blocker – Rebekah Allick, Nebraska
• Outside Hitter – Jordyn Byrd, Florida
• Right Side Hitter – Logan Lednicky, Texas A&M
• Setter – Izzy Starck, Penn State
• Libero – Laney Choboy, Nebraska
