The American Volleyball Coaches Association is thrilled to announce a groundbreaking, long-term collaboration with Nike Volleyball that’s designed to enhance the sport through innovative initiatives and increased support for coaches, athletes, and the volleyball community.
This multi-faceted agreement will see Nike Volleyball take on significant roles with several AVCA programs and events. Key highlights of the collaboration include involvement in the AVCA First Serve Showcase, the AVCA All-America awards, and the AVCA All-American/Player of the Year Banquet. Additionally, this collaboration will provide unique co-branding opportunities for the AVCA and Nike Volleyball.
“We are excited to embark on this partnership with Nike Volleyball,” said Dr. Jaime Gordon, AVCA CEO. “Nike’s dedication to elevating the sport and supporting volleyball across all levels is perfectly aligned with our mission. This collaboration not only enhances the resources and opportunities for our coaches and athletes, but also strengthens the entire volleyball community. We look forward to working with Nike to deliver transformative experiences and push the boundaries of what’s possible in our sport.”
The agreement will also foster expanded engagement at the annual AVCA Convention and support the AVCA Phenom Program and new AVCA High School Player of the Year award. With Nike Volleyball’s involvement, the AVCA anticipates increased visibility and growth for volleyball across all levels of play.
“We are thrilled to partner with the AVCA as they continue their work to bring the volleyball community together,” said Eddie Brown, President of Athlete Performance Solutions. “We look forward to working with the AVCA to connect deeply with volleyball coaches in our efforts to continue making products that solve the specific needs of volleyball athletes.”
The AVCA and Nike Volleyball are committed to driving the growth and development of volleyball for years to come and are dedicated to expanding the collaboration as new initiatives and opportunities arise.
