Balser, the 2022 NCVBCA 4A State Coach of the Year, is Director of Champion Volleyball Club and President of the USAV Carolina Region. His beach program won the 2024 State Championship. Winning, a 2024 AVCA Thirty Under Thirty High School Award recipient, also coaches with Champion Volleyball Club.
