“Hyperventilate” trains athletes to chase down tough balls and pop them up with urgency.
“12 Equals 50” is a high-energy, ball skill and cooperative drill where players aim to complete 50 attack combos using just 12 balls—emphasizing teamwork, aggressive style play, and fun.
Coach Dorsey, a former University of Kansas standout and co-founder of the St. James volleyball program, has led her teams to win numerous state titles and earn national recognition including two PrepVolleyball.com National Championships. Her coaching career is packed with highlights, including being named AVCA National Coach of the Year, All-USA Coach of the Year, and induction into the Kansas Volleyball Association Hall of Fame.

Byron Nelson High School (TX) surged to No. 1 in the High School on SBLive Sport’s Top 25 National Girls Volleyball Rankings after going undefeated to win the prestigious Ann Kang Invitational in Hawaii. The Week 1 rankings released August 20, feature teams from 12 states, with Texas leading the pack with six schools in the top 25.
