The Greater Houston Volleyball Coaches Association (GHVCA) is dedicated to upholding the highest standards for volleyball coaching in Texas. By fostering collaboration among its members, the association aims to elevate the quality of female athletics across the state. GHVCA serves as a governing body, offering coaches access to valuable resources that enhance their professional development. Additionally, the association provides a platform for coaches to address issues with their schools, athletes, fans, and officials by submitting written concerns. GHVCA also represents its members’ viewpoints on legislation with the UIL, Legislative Council, and the State Board of Education.
