Last night’s Men’s National Collegiate semifinal matches were epic! The Walter Pyramid at Long Beach was rocking, as UCLA and The Beach both earned hard-fought, five-set wins to advance to Saturday’s national championship.
And, speaking of that Saturday showdown, we received news that the match will be broadcast on ESPN main. That announcement furthers the momentum that the sport has be building for decades, but particularly during the 2023-24 seasons. It is a great recognition by ESPN, which has continued to help expand the coverage the game we love deserves by prioritizing key matches on its networks.
Coaches and fans, let’s take advantage of another exciting step for the sport by tuning into tomorrow’s men’s championship match between No. 1 Long Beach State and No. 2 UCLA. It starts at 5:10 pm (Eastern) and will be on ESPN with Paul Sunderland and Kevin Barnett on the call. Also, share this information on your social media to help spread the word.
And, don’t forget we also have the 2024 National Collegiate Beach Championship taking place as we speak in Gulf Shores. The event goes through Sunday, and all of those matches are on ESPN networks.
