Morgan Thomas, the associate women’s volleyball coach and recruiting coordinator at TCU, has been added to the AVCA Board of Directors.
She becomes the Assistant Coaches Representative, after being appointed to replace Jill Wilson, who resigned effective April 20, 2026, after accepting an athletic administration role at UNC-Asheville. Based on Wilson being in the middle of a three-year term, Thomas will serve through the end of 2028.
The 2025 season marked Thomas’ fourth in Fort Worth, and TCU again advanced to the NCAA tournament. The Horned Frogs have reached NCAA postseason in all four of her years, a streak that is unmatched in program history.
She was an integral part of the record-breaking 2024 season, which was highlighted by TCU earning its first-ever AVCA Poll ranking and having its first AVCA first-team All-American. Thomas has helped the team beat 10 ranked opponents over the past two seasons, including a TCU-record six in 2025.
Effective immediately, Thomas joins the other 16 members of the AVCA Board, which includes a blend of elected representatives and appointed members.
