The U.S. lost a heartbreaker in the quarterfinals of the 2025 World Championship as Bulgaria stormed back from two sets down to win 21-25, 19-25, 25-17, 25-22, 15-13 in Manila, Philippines.

The U.S. finished the tournament 4-1 while Bulgaria (5-0) moves on to face Czechia in the semifinals.

2025 AVCA Boys Talent Showcase and Skills Clinic

The 2025 AVCA Boys Showcase will take place at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, December 20.  The cost $99 per athlete prior to Friday, November 21.

For an additional $25, athletes can take part in the AVCA Boys Showcase Clinic in the evening on Friday, December 19 at the convention center. Registered athletes will have a chance to learn and develop their skills with the guidance of elite men’s college coaches from across the country.

Fort Valley State’s Larry Rather to Help Coach Team USA

Fort Valley State University’s men’s volleyball team has quickly become one of the most compelling stories in HBCU sports, and much of that success can be attributed to head coach Larry Rather. Now, Rather has received a significant appointment, being named an assistant coach to the U.S. Men’s National Team.

Rosters for 2025 Boys NTDP Fall Training Series Announced

The next generation of indoor volleyball stars will gather at the Olympic & Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs for the Boys Indoor NTDP Fall Training Series, Sept. 25-28. Nearly 130 athletes will sharpen their skills under the guidance of elite coaches in a high-performance training environment.

Menlo College Athletics announced that Ali’i Keohohou has been appointed as Head Men’s Volleyball Coach.

UCLA men’s volleyball head coach John Hawks announced on Tuesday that the program has hired Milan Zarkovic as an associate head coach.

John Jay Interim Director of Athletics Brandon Fieland has announced the hiring of Jonathan Vasquez as the Bloodhounds’ new head men’s volleyball coach.

Averett University announced the hiring of Christopher Tiller as its next men’s volleyball head coach on Thursday. Tiller will also serve as an assistant coach with the women’s volleyball program.
