Lebanon Valley (DIII) Adds Men’s Volleyball
Lebanon Valley College Athletics will add women’s flag football and men’s volleyball as its newest Division III varsity sports, boosting the number of Flying Dutchmen teams to 28. The two teams are expected to compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC). Director of Athletics announced plans to hire a men’s volleyball coach this winter to begin building the program with an anticipated first competition season of Spring 2028.
The Webber International Men’s Beach Volleyball team have been crowned the AVCA Men’s Beach National Champions after a dominating performance in Huntsville. The Warriors take home the title after a second-place finish at last season’s tournament.
The 2025 AVCA Boys Showcase will take place at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, December 20. The cost $99 per athlete prior to Friday, November 21.
For an additional $25, athletes can take part in the AVCA Boys Showcase Clinic in the evening on Friday, December 19 at the convention center. Registered athletes will have a chance to learn and develop their skills with the guidance of elite men’s college coaches from across the country.
The Middleton Cardinal Boys Volleyball team commanded their way to a state title Friday night, taking down Germantown in the championship at the Resch Center, 3 sets to 0, to finish off a perfect season.
Dorman Wins 4th Straight South Carolina State Championship
With a 3-0 sweep of Carolina Forest, the Cavaliers won their 4th straight state championship, 3rd title sanctioned by the SCHSL, and 2nd straight 5A DI crown. The win for Dorman (31-0) was also the 73rd straight victory dating back to Sept. 16, 2023.

USA Volleyball has announced a multi-year collaboration with Volleyball League of America (VLA), a professional high-performance men’s league in the United States.
This collaboration, which begins in the 2025-26 season, will elevate men’s volleyball nationwide by integrating VLA’s elite competitions into the USA Volleyball schedule, creating new opportunities for players and fans while strengthening the sport’s competitive and community landscape.
