Nominations for the 2023 AVCA Girls High School All-America Volleyball teams, AVCA Best and Brightest Awards, and AVCA National Coach of the Year closeWednesday, October 18 at 5 PM ET. The USMC/AVCA Battles Won Award recognizes volleyball players and coaches have overcame obstacles on and off the court. The AVCA will share the profiles of a dozen individuals who have faced hardship and come back strong over six Thursdays this fall—of players and coaches in the volleyball community who are redefining courage.
At the AVCA Convention in Tampa this December, one player and one coach will be presented with the 2023 USMC/AVCA Battles Won Award.

The criteria for the Thirty Under 30 High School Award remain unchanged. Nominees/Award winners must be active AVCA High School/Interscholastic members and be 30 years old OR younger before December 31, 2023.
Nominations for both Awards are open now through Tuesday, October 31. A press release announcing the Award winners will be sent out in mid-November.
