In early 2020, as part of ongoing efforts to fortify the focus on building community, the AVCA High School Leadership Council decided to utilize virtual technology to rally high school coaches. The AVCA Virtual Super Clinic was born, and we executed the first Clinic in August of 2020!

The success of this community building and coaching education experience led to a partnership with Coaches Insider who helps produce and curate content to make it easily accessible and consumable.  The partnership has made the AVCA Coach of the Year Virtual Super Clinic experience a mainstay for the AVCA!

The addition of the “coach of the year” moniker in the title was a way for us to tap into the best the volleyball coaching profession has to offer when it comes to sharing their knowledge.  Whether they are current coach of the year award winners, past winners, or “forever coaches of the year” that give so much to the game, we wanted to be able to access and celebrate the vast number of coach practitioners in our community and have them share.

Multiple virtual sessions created by current and past AVCA Coach of the Year award winners and volleyball coach practitioners will be released each day of the six-day digital coaching education experience. On-demand access to sessions will be available after the clinic
