Connecting top junior boys athletes with collegiate volleyball programs

The AVCA Boys’ Talent Showcase is a recruiting event developed for men’s team college coaches attending the AVCA Convention. The event is open to uncommitted and unsigned high school and two-year college boys volleyball players. The talent showcase will be held from 10 – 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 16 in the West Hall of the Tampa Convention Center. Please note there will be one waive of players and the AVCA expects approximately 30 – 40 kids to participate.

Boys Showcase Participants

The AVCA Boy’s Talent Showcase is a recruiting event designed to provide high school boys the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the collegiate coaches that are planning to attend the AVCA Convention. The 2023 AVCA Boys Showcase will take place in Tampa, Florida on Saturday, December 16. The cost $99 per athlete.

Athletes that register will participate in the talent showcase, perform a round of physical metrics testing called the AVCA Volleyball Performance Index, and receive insight into the collegiate recruiting process and tips to improve their visibility. More details including a link to register, a schedule of the event, and hotel options will be coming soon.

Please note cancellations are subject to a 25% processing fee. The deadline to submit a cancellation is Friday, November 12. No refunds will be given after this date.

• 7:30 – 8:30 am – Boy’s Talent Showcase Registration
• 8:30 – 9:00 am – Boy’s Talent Showcase Orientation – Hear information several college coaches and learn about college recruiting
• 9:00 – 10:00 am – Boy’s Talent Showcase VPI Testing
• 10:00 am – Noon – Boy’s Talent Showcase
• 12:15 – 1:00 pm – Coach-Athlete Meetings
