The AVCA Boys Talent Showcase is a recruiting event designed to provide high school boys the opportunity to showcase their skills in front of the collegiate coaches that are planning to attend the AVCA Convention. The AVCA will also be offering an athlete skills clinic on the Friday before the Talent Showcase on Saturday.

2025 AVCA Boys Showcase and Skills Clinic

The 2025 AVCA Boys Showcase will take place at the Kansas City Convention Center in Kansas City, Missouri on Saturday, December 20.  The cost $99 per athlete prior to Friday, November 21. Athletes that choose to register will:

  • participate in the talent showcase
  • be put through a round of athletics metric testing called the AVCA Volleyball Performance Index
  • receive some insight into the collegiate recruiting process and tips to improve their visibility

The AVCA is also offering a new opportunity for registered athletes. For an additional $25, athletes can take part in the AVCA Boys Showcase Clinic in the evening on Friday, December 19 at the convention center. Registered athletes will have a chance to learn and develop their skills with the guidance of elite men’s college coaches from across the country. This a terrific opportunity to get better and prepare for the main event on Saturday. The clinic will begin at 8:30pm and conclude at 10:30pm CT.

After November 21:

  • Late Reg Boys Talent Showcase – $125
  • Late Reg Boys Talent Showcase + Boys Clinic – $149

  • 7:30 – 8:30pm – Boys Clinic Registration and Check-In
  • 8:30 – 10:30pm – AVCA Boys Clinic – Skill Development Training

Saturday, December 20

  • 7:30 – 8:30am – Talent Showcase Registration and Check-In
  • 8:30 – 9am – Warmup & Stretching
  • 9 – 9:50am – VPI Testing
  • 9:50 – 10am – Introduction and Recruiting Talk
  • 10am – Noon – AVCA Boys Talent Showcase
  • 10:30 – 11:30am – Parents Session
  • 12:15 – 1pm – Coach – Athlete Meetings
