Creative Coaching

This session explores the Art of Coaching through creative lineup strategies that maximize team performance. Coaches will learn how to evaluate player strengths, adapt roles, and shift lineups to build the most competitive version of their team. By focusing on placing athletes where they can thrive, rather than where they typically play, we’ll discuss how to unlock hidden potential, foster team buy-in, and ultimately put your players in positions to win. Whether you're managing a limited depth or a highly competitive roster, this presentation will offer practical tools to think outside the box and coach with purpose and flexibility.

Coaches will be able to assess player skill sets and adapt roles based on team needs rather than default positions.

Coaches will demonstrate understanding of lineup strategy by designing one sample lineup variation that addresses a specific team challenge (e.g., lack of height, defensive weakness, etc.).

Coaches will apply at least two flexible lineup strategies learned in the session to real or hypothetical team scenarios, with a focus on maximizing both individual player contribution and overall team effectiveness.
