Exhibitor Showcase Session: A Look at What Over Millions of Jumps has Taught Us (presented by Vert)
This session will highlight some of the key lessons we've learned as a sport from the 100+ million jumps we've collected over the last 12 years in volleyball.
We will review specific load management strategies, positional differences, myths that have been busted (i.e. float serves are low impact), and what the future of A.I. holds for practices planning from a load management perspective.
This will serves as a fantastic review for the hundreds of VERT teams or an introduction for those looking to take that next step into player health and performance management.
We'll review:
- How many jumps are too many jumps (or too little)
- Its not just what you do in practice but WHEN you do particular drills that matter
- Data should inform rather than drive practice plans, we'll show specifically how
- The difference between load monitoring and load management
