Giving Your Team the Keys to the Scouting Report and Game Plan Development

Regardless of what systems you use or tactics you have in your tool belt, the goal with scouting is to find a way to gain a potential advantage over your opponent. Coaches do their homework and find the most effective way to convey the findings to their team. Why not create greater sense of autonomy by inviting your team into that process? This presentation will share ways to make a simple game plan that is clearly understood and has the best chance of being easily executed in the moments that matter. Coaches will: 1) Have a chance to formalize and organize the systems and/or tactics that their team can utilize/employ. 2) Learn how to efficiently utilize Volleymetrics to find clips and data to share with their teams. 3) Play the role of a player on their team and will work through the process of creating their own scout/plan. 4) Briefly discuss and learn various examples of ways to prepare for an opponent in the gym.
