Start Smart: Cooperative and Competitive Ball Control Drills (presented by JVA)

This session demonstrates effective strategies for coaching middle school aged athletes through a progression of cooperative to competitive drills. Participants will learn how to use partner and team-based drills to build fundamental ball-control skills, then transition those skills into game-like, competitive scenarios. The presentation highlights practical drill design, coaching cues, and ways to create a positive learning environment that supports player development for younger club athletes.
