Webinar | Teaching Players to Hold Each Other Accountable

Competitive training requires that teammates hold each other accountable for working hard and performing well, but what if they’ve never learned this skill? Many of this generation’s athletes have never been taught what it actually means to hold their teammates accountable, and many young players have never seen this behavior modeled by their peers. In this session we’ll discuss how to teach your players to practice the skill of holding their teammates accountable to increase the competition in your gym. Learning objectives: 1. Understand contemporary athletes' skill deficits related to accountability communication. 2. Develop an approach to teaching athletes how to hold each other accountable. 3. Collaborate with athletes on building communication skills related to holding teammates accountable.
