This session explores the vital connection between mental wellness and athletic performance, offering practical tools that you can share with your athletes to help them care for their minds as well as their bodies.
I will share evidence-based techniques to support athletes in managing the everyday stressors of competition and life. Attendees will learn how to integrate strategies for building confidence, coping with mistakes, and performing under pressure into both practices and games.
The session will also highlight ways to promote mental health outside of sport through self-awareness, coping tools and emotional regulation so your athletes can develop the resilience and well-being necessary for long-term success. Participants will leave with actionable tools they can apply immediately to help their athletes thrive not just in their sport, but also in their academic, occupational and social lives.
