(8/18/2025) League One Volleyball and AVCA partner to expand Coaching Fellowship Initiative

WHAT IS THE AVCA COACHING FELLOWSHIP?

The Coaching Fellowship Initiative started in 2025, and it is designed to help expose aspiring college volleyball coaches to unique professional development experiences.  At the heart of the fellowship initiative is the opportunity for the Fellow to observe practices and/or competition at elite volleyball programs, to converse with coaching and administrative or management staffs, and to build meaningful relationships that positively impact the fellow’s personal and professional journey.

WHO IS THE AVCA COACHING FELLOWSHIP INTIATIVE FOR?

Target is NCAA DI, DII, DIII, NAIA, Two-Year College, and other collegiate volleyball coaches.

WHAT DOES THE FELLOW RECEIVE?

–Professional Development Programming
–Exposure to elite programs
–Access to industry leaders
–Relationship Building opportunities
–Travel Stipend and Per Diem

WAYS TO HELP ADVANCE THE INITIATIVE?

–Serve as a host site.
–Provide access to coaching staff.
–Provide access to administrative and/or management staff.
–Support with a donation.
