The AVCA is pleased to announce its 34th All-America teams for National Collegiate men’s volleyball.
The 2024 lists include 24 players—12 each on the first and second teams—from 11 schools. Grand Canyon University and Long Beach State University lead the way with three players each on the first team, and four total All-Americans. UCLA, the University of California, Irvine, and Penn State University all have three players on the first- or second-teams.
First-teamer Mason Briggs of Long Beach State becomes a four-time All-American, after receiving AVCA honors from 2021–23. Four of this year’s honorees are earning their third All-America award: Ethan Champlin of UCLA, Merrick McHenry of UCLA, Will Rottman of Stanford, and Guilherme Voss of Hawai‘i. The 2024 National Collegiate Player of the year is Hilir Henno of UC Irvine, and the Newcomer of the Year is Daniel Fabikovic of Loyola Chicago.
