Allick helped the Huskers start the new season in style at AVCA First Serve. The senior had 12 blocks and 20 kills in top-ranked Nebraska’s wins over No. 3 Pittsburgh and No. 6 Stanford. In the four-set win on opening night, she had eight blocks and nine kills, then she followed that up by leading the Huskers in points (14.5) and hitting percentage (.600), which earned her the match MVP award in a dominating sweep of the Cardinal.
