JAMIE MORRISON, TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY
- Morrison has guided Texas A&M to a record-setting season in 2025, which has included an epic postseason run.
- As part of the breakthrough year, his Aggies advanced to the semifinal round of the NCAA Championship for the first time in school history.
- The team has won 27 matches heading into the NCAA semifinals, which is the most in a season for an A&M team during the rally-scoring era.
- A program-best four Texas A&M players earned AVCA All-America honors this season.
- The Aggies’ memorable postseason run featured a landmark win in the regional final over No. 1 Nebraska.
- Morrison’s squad displayed toughness all season long, especially in high-pressure moments like the NCAA regional when the team got a reverse sweep over Louisville then a five-set thriller over the Huskers in Lincoln.

Division I Women’s Assistant Coach of the Year
KATHY JEWELL, PURDUE UNIVERSITY
- Jewell has been integral to the Boilermakers many successes in what has been a banner 2025 season.
- Now in 23rd year on the sidelines in West Lafayette with Head Coach Dave Shondell, Kathy helped this year’s team return to the Elite Eight of the NCAA Championship and finish third in the rugged Big Ten.
- They weathered losing a number of key transfers and kept the 2025 squad playing at an elite level, which included 10 wins over ranked teams this season.
- Purdue’s Oct. 19th win over Rutgers marked the 500th career win for the Shondell-Jewell coaching duo.
- She has helped develop numerous All-Americans during her tenure, including three players who earned AVCA honors in 2025.
