The AVCA is pleased to name its 2026 NAIA Men’s Volleyball All-America Teams, which include 24 student-athletes split between the first and second teams.
This year’s All-Americans represent 13 programs, and leading the way are Campbellsville University, Mount Mercy University, Park University, St. Xavier University, and The Master’s University with three apiece. An 15 additional players received AVCA honorable mention honors.
There are three schools who have their first-ever AVCA All-Americans: Bethel University, Cumberland University, and Westcliff University. All three of the first-timers are second-team selections: Thomas Dunkley of Bethel, Joao Infante of Cumberland, and Tiago Silva of Westcliff.
The 2026 Freshman of the Year is Murillo Silva of Park University. The outside hitter hits .315, averages 3.14 kills per set and 3.98 points per set and leads the Pirates in aces with 41 heading into this week’s NAIA Championship.
The selections were made by the AVCA NAIA Men’s Volleyball All-America Committee: Luke Bentley of William Penn (chair), Alfonso Alvarez of Campbellsville, Steven Brasher of Simpson, Jared Goldberg of The Master’s, Chad Hanson of Dordt, Greg Reitz of Lourdes, Tom Ryan of St. Xavier, and C.J. Shearer of Life University.

Assistant Coach of the Year: Gus Tuaniga, Westcliff University
Player of the Year: Isaac Seltzer, The Master’s University, RS, Sr.
