Nebraska is the unanimous No. 1 in this week’s AVCA-Taraflex Division I Women’s Poll. After splitting a home-and-home with No. 2 Pittsburgh, SMU moves back into the top 5.
Vanderbilt enters the poll for the first time at No. 24 after earning the program’s first win ever over a top-5 opponent when they beat No. 5 Florida yesterday 3-1. The week’s biggest movers were No. 8 Arizona State, No. 13 Purdue, No. 14 BYU, and No. 15 Penn State, as each rose three spots following wins over ranked opponents last week.
