The 2024 NCAA DII women’s volleyball championship bracket was revealed on Nov. 25. The 64-team tournament begins with regional competition starting on Dec. 5. The tournament will conclude on Dec. 14 with the championship match at Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
The 2024 NAIA Women’s Volleyball Championshipwill continue at the final site in Sioux City, Iowa. Pool play matches will begin on Wednesday, December 4, culminating in the championship on December 10. The championship is broadcast FREE on the NAIA Channel of the Urban Edge Network.
Lindsey Wilson College women’s volleyball graduate assistant coach Krzysztof Kowalski passed away on Wednesday. Kowalski began his coaching career this fall, helping the Blue Raiders to the Mid-South Conference regular season and tournament championships. Kowalski came to Lindsey Wilson after a decorated athletics career at Georgetown (Ky.). He helped the Tigers win the 2023 NAIA Men’s Volleyball National Championship, where he was named the tournament’s most valuable player.
Sam Houston announced the hiring of Brad Keenan as its first Head Beach Coach. Play is set to begin as a member of Conference USA in Spring 2025.
Natalie Reagan officially named Long Beach State Head Women’s Volleyball Coach.
Washington & Jefferson College athletics has announced Daniel Follett as the head coach of the institution’s inaugural men’s volleyball program. The program is set to launch full competition in 2026-27.
Michigan Tech named Cindy Pindral the eighth Head Coach of the volleyball program.
University of Toledo Head Women’s Volleyball Coach Jason Oliver announced that he has accepted a position as the offensive coordinator of the Grand Rapids Rise (Pro Volleyball Federation).
Bill Schutter announced his retirement as the Marywood University head volleyball coach following six seasons and five consecutive Atlantic East Conference semifinal appearances.
