NCAA Volleyball Committee's In-Season Top 16 Rankings Reveal

The NCAA DI women's volleyball committee announced its in-season top-16 rankings during the Florida vs. Texas match on Sunday, Oct. 18. All matches through Saturday, Oct. 17, were under consideration when determining the rankings. This marks the third year that the in-season rankings feature 16 teams. Before 2024, only the top 10 were revealed. The committee looked at 64 teams and considered several criteria to determine their rankings, including strength of schedule, top-10 wins and head-to-head competition.

The in-season reveal offers fans an early look at potential NCAA tournament seedings ahead of Selection Sunday on Nov. 29.

The 2026 DI women's volleyball championship semifinals and championship will be held on Dec. 17 and Dec. 20 at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.
