USA Volleyball is set to celebrate some of the sport’s greatest athletes, coaches, officials and leaders at its 2024 Hall of Fame annual banquet and ceremony on May 22 – one day before the 20USA Volleyball Open National Championship starts in Columbus. Kathy DeBoer will be the 2024 recipient of the Frier Award and inducted into the USA Volleyball Hall of Fame.
Holyoke, Massachusetts announced plans to build a new state-of-the-art sports complex that will be the new home of the International Volleyball Hall of Fame. The complex is aimed to host over 30 events and tournaments annually, and will include 16 volleyball and basketball courts plus bowling and rock climbing.

The AVCA is now accepting nominations for the 2024 AVCA Boys Watch Lists: Senior athletes will be added to AVCA Boys High School All-America Watch List. Non-senior high school athletes will be featured on the AVCA High Risers List. Please nominate all of your deserving athletes to ensure they are recognized and we bring more attention to the sport!

Nominate Your Top Female Athletes for the JVA Watch List
This award recognizes indoor girls volleyball athletes from JVA member clubs for outstanding achievement on the volleyball court. Players eligible for nomination are currently competing in age divisions 15U, 16U, 17U or 18U and graduating high school in 2024, 2025, 2026 or 2027. Burnout in Volleyball Leaders: 3 Mindset Shifts to Help
You are leaders. And leading is harder than it has ever been. Everyone has an arrow ready to launch, and they are almost always aimed at those who have to navigate the terrain of challenging decision making, the secret sauce of all great club directors. Bob Weiner, the most successful coach in the history of Keene State College volleyball, has announced that he will retire after 19 years on the Owls’ bench. He retires from coaching with a record of 617-497, with stops at Franklin Pierce, Macalester, Montana State Northern, Iona, Assumption, Pine Manor, and KSC.
