Each of the 2 All-America Teams includes 12 student-athletes, who represent 11 programs, and 16 additional players are honorable mention selections.

Uncommitted athletes on the 2024 AVCA Phenom or AVCA All-America Watch List will also be invited to attend the 2024 AVCA Phenom College Prep Program December 19-21, 2024, in Louisville, Kentucky. Since the start of the Phenom Program, 80% of participating athletes have ended up on college rosters! This weekend of events includes educational sessions on recruiting and mental training, Q&A with AVCA All-Americans, tickets to the NCAA Division I Semi-Finals and Finals, avcaVPI testing, and the Phenom Showcase. The U.S. Women’s National Team, the reigning Olympic champion, will play three matches this July 10-14 against world No. 10 Netherlands at The Walter Pyramid on the campus of Long Beach State. This will be the final chance to see the team play on U.S. soil before heading to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to defend its title.
The FISU America Games are a multi-sport event sanctioned by the International University Sports Federation. Alternating with the Summer and Winter World University Games, the FISU America Games are a regional multi-sport event similar to the Pan-American Games. Student-athletes and coaches are needed for men’s, women’s, and beach volleyball. Dates: November 5-14, 2024, with volleyball competitions being on November 5-9 and beach volleyball on November 12-14. Vassar College Head Women’s Volleyball Coach Jonathan Penn has announced that he will be retiring from coaching following a 28-year career at the helm of the Brewers. Penn retires from Vassar as the winningest head coach in program history with 574 total victories as both the men’s and women’s head coach.
After leading the Central Missouri volleyball team to their 37th NCAA Tournament appearance with an overall record of 25-8, head coach Caitlin Peterson has signed a three-year contract extension through the 2026 season.
North Central College has announced the hiring of Ray Gooden as head women’s volleyball coach.
Avery Moore announced as the new head volleyball coach at West Virginia State.
Mississippi College announces Bentley Odom as the head volleyball coach.
