This event includes educational sessions on recruiting and mental training, Q&A with AVCA All-Americans, tickets to the NCAA Division I Semi-Finals and Finals, avcaVPI testing, and the Phenom Showcase.
The Representative Council of the Michigan High School Athletic Association took several actions during its Spring Meeting, including approving the addition of boys volleyball and girls field hockey to the lineup of MHSAA-sponsored tournament sports beginning in 2025-26.

AVCA/MaxPreps High School Boys Volleyball Players of the Week
The matchups are set for the inaugural Pro Volleyball Federation Championship! The semifinals will take place TONIGHT, May 15. No. 1 seed Atlanta will face the No. 4 seed Grand Rapids in the first match at 6 pm CT, and the No. 2 seed Omaha will match up with No. 3 seed San Diego in the second semifinal battle at approximately 8:30 pm CT. The title contest is slated for May 18 from CHI Health Center in Omaha, airing at 3:30 CT on CBS Sports.
USA Volleyball Announces Men’s Team for Paris 2024 The athlete roster includes nine players with Olympic experience and three newcomers who will compete at the Paris Games, which run July 26-August 11. John Speraw will serve as head coach of his third Olympic team after leading the U.S. Men in Rio, where they took bronze, and Tokyo. Assistant coaches are Matt Fuerbringer, Javier Weber and Michael Wall.

The FISU America Games, sanctioned by the International University Sports Federation, are a regional multi-sport event similar to the Pan-American Games.
