Tampa, Florida (Dec. 16, 2023) —
The American Volleyball Coaches Association is excited to launch its first Live Social Impact Game—the AVCA Volleyball Charity Challenge—during the Women’s NCAA Volleyball Championship. In collaboration with Rivals Media, the AVCA Volleyball Charity Challenge was created to support the recently announced Volleyball 4 All initiative.
Fans can participate for free in the sweepstakes by predicting outcome of Sunday’s match between Texas and Nebraska in Tampa. The Challenge will also include other components, such as which team will serve first, score the first point, or call the first time out.
Charity Challenge players can adjust their risk level to earn more points for correct predictions. Top 10 scores will be published on leaderboards through all eight rounds of the Challenge, and the grand prize winner will receive a VIP package for two to the 2024 NCAA Division I Championship.
When fans register, they can make an optional a tax-deductible donation to AVCA Volleyball 4 All fund, which supports the association’s scholarships, social programs, and grassroot initiatives. This unique feature empowers participants to interact with the matches and make a positive impact on the volleyball community.
