ALL-AMERICA TEAMS

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 30, 2018) - The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) is proud to announce its 28th annual AVCA Division I-II Men's All-America Teams. The awards will be presented at the NCAA Men's Volleyball Championship Banquet on the campus of UCLA on Wednesday, May 2.

Long Beach State leads all programs in this year’s class with four AVCA All-Americans honored. The University of Hawai’i was second with three All-Americans while BYU, Ohio State, UC Irvine, and UCLA each placed a pair.

The 2018 selections were made by the AVCA Division I-II Men's Volleyball All-America Committee: chairperson Dan Friend (Lewis); Alan Knipe (Long Beach State), Charlie Wade (Hawai’i), David Heller (Mount Olive), Ryan Booher (King), Danny Goncalves (NJIT), Mike Rumbaugh (Saint Francis), Mark Hulse (Loyola-Chicago), Shawn Olmstead (BYU), Jeff Nygaard (Southern California).
