Eighteen seasons as the head coach of the Shockers…Led the program to their 15th straight 20+ win season…Received their first NCAA Tournament seed (#16)…In their first round victory, they had their largest ever home attendance (7,257) then beat that record in the second round match (7,258)…AAC Coach of the Year…Held an AVCA ranking in every week since September 18, and have a current ranking of No. 20.

Thirty-eighth season for Rose at Penn State…Shared the Big Ten Championship…Earned the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament…Advanced to the Round of 16 after defeating Howard then Pittsburgh in the NCAA Tournament…Took the top spot in the AVCA Coaches Poll on October 16th, and have remained there since…Mentored five players to AVCA All-Region accolades…His 13th AVCA Region Coach of the Year honor (1988, 1990, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013, 2017).

In his sixth season as Cal Poly’s Head Coach…Best regular season record for the Mustangs…Went an unblemished 16-0 in the Big West, and won the conference title for the first time in program history…Made their first NCAA Tournament appearance and won a match for the first time since 2007…Big West Conference Coach of the Year…Current No. 21 AVCA ranking is their highest since 2008.

AVCA Division I Pacific South Region Coach of the Year

2017 Record: 25-5, 17-1 West Coast Conference
The Toreros Head Coach since 1999…Won their first WCC Championship since 2013…Petrie won the WCC Coach of the Year for the fifth time…Made their 21st appearance in the NCAA Tournament…Rank nationally in the top-5 in kills per set (14.92) and assists per set (14.12)…Spent the last two AVCA Coaches Polls at No. 9…This is her second AVCA Region Coach of the Year (2013, 2017).

Just completed his 23rd season at the Lady Toppers…Won the Conference USA Tournament for the fourth consecutive year, which is the first time that’s ever happened…Fourth straight NCAA Tournament appearance…Fourth straight 30-win season…Coached back-to-back C-USA Player of the Year and four-time AVCA All-Region honoree Alyssa Cavanaugh…Fifth AVCA Region Coach of the award (2002, 2005, 2012, 2016, 2017).
