High School Beach All-America Team

LEXINGTON, Ky. (August 31, 2017) - The American Volleyball Coaches Association is excited to announce the fourth annual AVCA High School Beach All-America Team. The team is comprised of six of the elite high school beach volleyball players from across the country with ten making All-America Honorable Mention.

California led the way with three All-Americans, while Florida had a pair and Texas make up the six total representatives. 

The High School Girls Beach All-America Committee is comprised of Wayne Gant (Great American Volleyball/Northeast), Steve Bishop (USA Volleyball/Florida), Scott Stover (692 Beach/Texas, Central), Jeff Smith (692 Beach/California), West Coast), Andrew Bennett (Tamarack Beach Volleyball Club/California, West Coast), Rian Mariano (RPM Sand/Arizona), Taye Im (Team One/Chicago, Midwest), and Bryan Jones (Southern Sand Select/Atlanta, Southwest).

“Megan is a kid that only comes around every once in a while. She had the highest practice attendance of any kid we have ever had in our club and attended three practices a week plus strength training on off days. She would come to practice and could play with the youngest kid on the beach and make them better. Humble to the bone and with a warm heart she had one of the most successful careers ever.”
