The Kansas Volleyball Association (KVA) officially announced 2025 KVA All-Stars (12 players per team) for the Red and Blue Teams on May 20. The 2025 KVA All-Star Match is June 7, 2025, at 5pm, at Washburn Rural High School. Tickets can be purchased at the door.

St. Xavier HS (Louisville) won the first-ever 2025 KHSAA Boys Volleyball Championshipon May 20, with DeSales, St., South Warren, and Henry Clay in the semi-finals.
After an incredible season and 8-weeks of play, Lincoln Elite battled with Omaha Grasshoppers in a 5-set victory to claim the State’s first-ever Title! An amazing match and very high-level volleyball played at Millard South High School on May 10!
The 11th Annual NYVCA Coaches Clinic held May 16-17was an amazing weekend full of learning, networking, and growing as coaches. Thank you to the 75 coaches in attendance! Special thank you to the demonstrators, vendors and top coach presenters including LJ Marx, Erin Glickert, Karl Caputo; and nutrition and fitness professionals as Theresa Delorenzo and Mike Sirani! NC high school boys volleyball is finishing up another historic season, but they are also registering new high school boys club teams STATEWIDE to compete in the Spring 2026 season. This will be the last season before they ask for a sanctioning vote! If your school is interested in starting a team, contact Coach Sarah Conklin.

MI Boys Vb State Tournament began last week with 97 teams competing with a state champion to be crowned in each division on June 7, at Hudsonville.
Welcome NMHSCA Executive Director Angel E. Castillo III! He first experienced the NMHSCA as an All-Star athlete, then as an All-Star coach, later as a Sports Director, and now, as the Executive Director carrying forward the vision and legacy of his mentor former and former Executive Director Buster Mabrey.

The season-opening women’s volleyball showcase will take place at Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska, on Aug. 22–24, and at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, on Aug. 25. Reminder that if your membership is not renewed before the expiration date, your account will enter EXPIRED status. This includes limited access to the AVCA website and services for up to one year. Note – Expired members may NOT nominate for AVCA awards! If you still haven’t renewed after a year in expired status, you will not receive any AVCA member benefits until you rejoin.
