Four of the nation’s top collegiate volleyball teams will open the 2024 women’s season at the AVCA First Serve Showcase on Aug. 27 in Louisville, KY. A doubleheader will take place at the KFC Yum! Center, the same venue where the NCAA DI Women’s Volleyball National Championship will be held in December. This will be the first night of DI women’s volleyball in 2024 and promises to kick off the season with a bang! Read the full 2024 Press Release here!

Organizations are now eligible to request group codes for ticket orders for the AVCA First Serve Showcase on Aug. 27.
Interested parties can get a group code, which they can share with members of their team, club, or organization to be used when purchasing tickets for the matches. Organizations whose members purchase over 20 tickets using the code will receive a donation of 15 percent of the costs from the AVCA after the event.
If members want to sit together, they should have one person buy all the tickets (up to 50 are allowed in one transaction). Individuals in the group also have the option of choosing their own seats, and their purchase will still go toward the donation to the organization if they use the code.

Competing Teams:
The first match of the 2024 AVCA First Serve Showcase will feature Nebraska and Kentucky. The Huskers were the 2023 NCAA runnerup and they return four AVCA All-Americans, while the Wildcats, who won the national title in the spring of 2021, are led by three-time All-American setter Emma Grome. Wisconsin then plays Louisville, in a battle of teams that have both made the NCAA semifinals two times in the last three years. The Badgers were national champions in the fall of 2021, and the Cardinals finished second in 2022. Each team returns three AVCA-All Americans from 2023.

Know Before You Go:
- Bag & Purse Policy– Bags no larger than 14″ x 14″ x 6″ will be allowed into the arena for events. Medical and parenting bags are permitted and subject to search.
- Mobile Entry – We highly recommend fans arrive early with your mobile tickets pre-downloaded prior to arriving to the KFC Yum! Center.
- Cashless Venue – All concessions and merchandise locations inside the KFC Yum! Center are cashless. All major debit and credit cards are accepted. Cash can be exchanged for a gift card that can be used inside the arena at Guest Services on the Main Concourse.
- Parking – Guests can pre-pay for parking online to reserve a spot in the arena garage.
